The Court is scheduled to hear arguments on Monday, March 12, 2018. In the event of inclement weather impacting the National Capital Region on Monday, March 12, 2018, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will follow the Office of Personnel Management’s operating status in the event of an OPM closure. In the event of an OPM delayed opening, counsel should check the Clerk’s Office telephone and online operating status message after 6:30 a.m. for additional information.

For technical reasons, courthouse wireless Internet access for members of the bar will be discontinued as of March 13, 2018. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to restore this service in the future. The formal notice is available here.

On February 28, 2018, the Clerk’s Office of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Federal Circuit Bar Association presented a webcast on the court’s implementation of NextGen CM/ECF. The webcast audio is available here, as well as the accompanying program materials and program slides.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be closed on Friday, March 2, 2018, due to the inclement weather. For purposes of computation of time and for motions to enlarge time under Fed. R. App. Proc. 26 and Fed. Cir. R. 26, March 2, 2018, will be considered a "legal holiday." Telework-ready employees should follow their office's policies.
