The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be closed on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, due to the inclement weather. For purposes of computation of time and for motions to enlarge time under Fed. R. App. Proc. 26 and Fed. Cir. R. 26, March 21, 2018, will be considered a "legal holiday." Telework-ready employees should follow their office's policies.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has completed its upgrade to the next generation of the national case management and electronic case filing system, NextGen CM/ECF. Electronic filing is available at http://ecf.cafc.uscourts.gov. Additional information is available here.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will go live on NextGen CM/ECF this coming Monday, March 19, 2018. As a final reminder, attorneys will need to complete their account upgrades by noon (Eastern) on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Electronic filing will be suspended from Friday, March 16, 2018, beginning at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern) through Sunday, March 18, 2018. The full notice is available here.

The Court is scheduled to hear arguments on Monday, March 12, 2018. In the event of inclement weather impacting the National Capital Region on Monday, March 12, 2018, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will follow the Office of Personnel Management’s operating status in the event of an OPM closure. In the event of an OPM delayed opening, counsel should check the Clerk’s Office telephone and online operating status message after 6:30 a.m. for additional information.
