Chief Judge Michel’s Speech as the Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Fordham Intellectual Property Institute November 18, 2009 Chief Judge Paul Michel was chosen to be the Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Fordham Intellectual Property Institute from November 15 to 19, 2009. As a Fellow, the Chief Judge participated in many aspects of the law school, including teaching classes and meeting with students. He delivered a public lecture, entitled “Innovation Incentives, Competition, and Patent Law Reform: Should Congress Fix the Patent Office and Leave Litigation Management to the Courts?" on November 18, 2009.
