PACER formerly provided access to Federal Circuit uncertified docket sheets, Entries of Appearance, Certificates of Interest, and official captions. The Federal Circuit is pleased to announce a new Attorney Admissions Search utility available on the court's Internet web site. This self-service utility will allow allow attorneys to enter their name and verify both their admissions status and admissions date with the Federal Circuit. Click here to access this new tool. Users only need to enter their Last name and optionally, their First name to run the search.

Note: Attorneys who are not registered in CM/ECF, will not be able to search for their admissions information until they have registered in the CM/ECF system.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit announces the appointment of CARTER G. PHILLIPS as the new Chair of the Federal Circuit Advisory Council. Mr. Phillips is a partner in the firm of Sidley Austin, LLP. He is a long-standing member of the Federal Circuit Bar and has argued 25 cases before the Court. Mr. Phillips previously served on the Advisory Council from 2000 to 2012, including as Chair from 2003 to 2005. The Court congratulates Mr. Phillips on his selection.

Circuit Judge Alan Lourie presented the State of the Court Address at the Federal Circuit Bar Association’s Bench & Bar Conference on June 19, 2014. Judge Lourie described the Federal Circuit as “very healthy and operating well.” Click here to read his complete remarks.
