CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION PROGRAM AND JUDICIAL RECEPTION
FRONTLINE ISSUES IN FEDERAL CIRCUIT PRACTICE -
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS, PERSONNEL, AND VETERANS

This intense program will address frontline issues related to MSPB and government contracts, as well as a mock argument of Veterans' disability proceedings. The program will run from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Washington, 1000 H Street, NW, Washington, DC. Afterwards, please join us, and members of the courts, for the Judicial Reception at the Tayloe House from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., located at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The cost to attend the CLE program and the reception is $150 for private practice attorneys or $125 for government attorneys. TENTH ANNUAL BENCH AND BAR CONFERENCE

MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA

The Federal Circuit Bar Association will hold its 10th Annual Bench and Bar Conference at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Resort and Conference Center in Monterey, California, conveniently located five minutes from the Monterey Peninsula Airport and less than two hours from San Jose by car.

Focusing on innovation, change, and the rule of law, the conference will begin with a reception on Wednesday evening, June 25. The substantive program will commence on Thursday morning, June 26, and conclude on the afternoon of Saturday, June 28.

The Bench and Bar Conference annually brings together practitioners, students, professors, and judges in the Federal Circuit legal community in a unique environment. This year's program addresses recent decisions, current hot topics, and future perspectives. Speakers will include nationally prominent appellate and trial advocates, chief government and corporate legal officers, and representatives of the Bench. Unique townhall sessions will allow attendees to discuss the role of Supreme Court and Federal Circuit law in each of the various subject matter areas.
