The 2020 Judicial Conference of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be held at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel on Friday, May 15, 2020. The conference will begin with a morning program including an address by the Chief Justice of the United States, a panel of Federal Circuit judges, a panel of judges and officials from tribunals within the Federal Circuit’s jurisdiction, and a panel to discuss recent issues involving cyber security.

The keynote luncheon speaker will be the Solicitor General of the United States, Noel Francisco.

The afternoon breakout sessions will address current issues arising within the Federal Circuit’s jurisdiction, including Patent, Trademark, and International Trade, as well as actions heard before the United States Court of Federal Claims, the Boards of Contract Appeals, the United States Merit Systems Protection Board, and the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

The conference offers the opportunity to engage in discussion that advances the administration of justice and promotes the long-standing tradition of collegiality within the Federal Circuit.
